What an update right?I left the top as stained wood and just painted out the bottom parts.

I would really like to strip the top and restain it in something a little less reddish, but I’m feeling like harsh chemical strippers are probably a bit of a no-no right now with the baby on the way.Even with the reddishness though, I really like it so much more now!.It really brightens everything up in here when you walk into the room from the kitchen..

Sometimes taking the lazy road and just doing half a job is the way to go!I don’t think I’d like it quite as much if I had painted the whole thing.. And just in case you’re wondering… No.

It doesn’t always look this tidy and perfectly styled.. It’s really mostly just a home for legos.

It’s perfect for that too though!.I guess he thought he was being funny.. Let this be a lesson to him: You don’t joke about corn around here.
